My name is Kate. I like to dance very much. Last year I visited France and took part in International dancing competition. I was a winner.

The first day at school after holidays

Hello friends from England,

We are back to school and are happy to communicate with you. Here we are. We have much snow these days.

Autumn Holidays

Autumn holidays have come! Usually students have 10 days holidays. The school will start on the 8th of November. Everybody is happy to have a rest from school. Some of the children will visit their relatives and friends in other towns and villages. They will also have a chance to go on excursions.

It's strange, but the weather is warm here now and there is no snow. I can't wait snow!

One day with George

In the evening after school we had supper. He liked fruits. After supper we went to the garden and played games, took photos.

In the afternoon he was tired and went to bed. And I went to school.

Then we listened to music and George met my guinnea-pig named Gelya and my dog named Kiddy.

After breakfast we did my homework and read a book. George couldn't understand Russian and I tought him to speak Russian. Math is a difficult subject!

My name is Nastya.

I had a good time with George at my home.
Every morning we got up at 9 o'clock. School starts at 2 p.m. George cleaned teath and washed. He helped me make a bed and water flowers. Then he had breakfast.

We have no Lollipop ladies in the streets of our town. The children usually walk to school or the parents take them to school by car if they live far.

The Lollipop Lady

Autumn has come

The trees in Russian parks are yellow and red now. The days are shorter than in summer. It often rains and the weather is cool.

And what is the weather like in England in October? Can you tell us about your parks? Do you have a garden near the school? What plants and trees do you grow?

George is very active at the lesson. He can ask questions and likes to write on the board.

Snezhana is his good friend. During the brake she shows him flowers in the classroom.

He came to school in a blue uniform because it was cool on that day. You can see socks on his feet.

Our food

Dennis and Kirill:We like to eat meat, vegetables, chicken soup, vegetable soup, fruit, cakes, pizza, chips.

Our writing style

Nastya and Victor: We write in the style which came from Kirillitsa. There are some changes in writing letters now. Students usually write with a pen. Sometimes they use a pencil to underline the words. It is usually at the lessons of Russian.

Schools

Tanya and Roma: There are five schools in our town. Schools usually start at 8 a.m. and finish at 1.30 p.m. In our school there are many classes so some classes start at 2 p.m. and finish at 7 p.m.

About sports

Alyona and Denis: We go to swimming lessons.

We have two large sport centres for young people in our town. We like to play football in summer. We ski and skate in winter. We have much snow in winter.

Snezhana and Nastya: Our country is large. It is in Europe and Asia. We have a good chance to travel in different climatic zones. It is very cold in the North of our country and warm in the South.

Our country is expensive because our cars, houses, things in the shops are expensive.

We wear a school uniform. Our uniform is black, white, grey or blue colours. Children can choose the colours. Girls usually wear white blouses and black skirts. Boys wear white, blue or grey shirts and black trousers.
